Four members of our team attended the International Congress of Neuroethology in Berlin

Four FishEvo PhD students presented their work at the ICN 2024. It was all about fish and visual adaptations in deep-sea fishes, cyprinids and sturgeons.

Zuzka Konvičková gave her talk on How fish see in the deep sea:

Verča presented her poster on cyprinid vision and evolution of vision on a smaller scale within a family:

Prokop presented his poster on sturgeon vision and namely focused on the loss of the rod cells in one of the species:

And finally, Vitek presented his starting research on the fascinating (far) red glowing and seeing deep-sea fishes:
